Hebei Medical Qigong School and Hospital is four hours north of Beijing by train, on the coast of Chihle Bay of the Yellow Sea. The school is located only minutes away from the beach where there is swimming June through August. The school and hospital grounds are set in the midst of pine trees, where a Qi (Chi) field has been generated since 1955.
The surrounding area is a small community where one may walk or bike up town to shop at the local stores or street markets. There is a wonderful Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbal Pharmacy, book stores, clothing markets and several outlets for pearls.
Heading north about 30 minutes is the Dragon Head or where the Great Wall meets the sea. This also The First Pass Under Heaven where the Great Wall begins. Further north is Longevity Mountain, famous for its medicinal herbs and famous lakes.
